Quantum Escape: Tunneling is a physics puzzle game inspired by real ideas from quantum mechanics and particle physics. Launch particles through a stylized test chip, bounce from hard walls, cross potential barriers by quantum tunneling, control energy, use resonance, and guide each particle to the green detector.
The campaign currently includes 24 levels across three physics worlds, with new concepts introduced step by step.
WORLD 1 — TUNNEL FOUNDATIONS
Learn trajectory control, reflections and finite potential barriers. Purple barriers can transmit a particle even when its kinetic energy is below the barrier height. Compare thin and thick barriers, escape a potential well, collect energy, and time pulsed barriers when they are weakest.
WORLD 2 — RESONANT TUNNELING
Discover double-barrier quantum structures and resonant tunneling. More power is not always better: the correct energy can produce high transmission, while too little or too much energy can miss the resonance. Prepare your particle with accelerator and brake regions and solve increasingly complex quantum locks.
WORLD 3 — ELECTRIC & MAGNETIC FIELDS
Control charged particles with electric and magnetic fields. Electrons, positrons, protons and alpha particles respond differently because of their charge and mass. Use the Lorentz force, magnetic bending, crossed fields and velocity selection to navigate particle-transport puzzles, accelerator-style beamlines and a quantum transistor-inspired level.

The game uses simplified, playable models rather than claiming to be a full laboratory simulation. Barrier calculations use an eV/nm quantum model, while field strengths and level geometry are scaled for mobile gameplay. The goal is to preserve the physical relationships that make quantum mechanics and particle motion interesting while turning them into challenging puzzles.
